A place in the sun host Leah Charles-King has called on viewers to complain after noticing she didn't appear in the new episodes.

The Channel 4 lifestyle series follows a couple who want to buy a property in a foreign land, being linked to one of the various presenters which then relay information about purchasing, operating and maintaining a property in a particular location.

Other presenters appearing in the series include Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton, Scarlett Douglas and the late Johnny Irwin.

However, when new episodes recently hit the screens, airing weekdays since April 29, some viewers noticed Leah's absence and tried to figure out why she was missing.

User Ben shared a post on X wondering if she would be seen, to which the presenter immediately responded.

'Unfortunately not. And I won't be appearing in this current new run either, I'm afraid, Placers! But hopefully the next one. Feel free to raise a stink about it,” she posted.

'Oh no, that's such a shame!!' Lynn added.

Others joked that they would 'boycott' the show until she appeared again.

But soon after, Leah confirmed she had not been dropped from the series, sharing: “I've got plenty of new episodes in the bank so hopefully I'll be in the next series.”

Channel 4 told the Emphatic that Leah, who joined the program in 2021, will be back on air in a new episode on May 29.

Last year Leah talked about her first meeting with former co-star Irwin, who died in February at the age of 50 after previously being diagnosed with lung cancer.

Although they never worked on the show together, Leah told Metro.co.uk how welcoming he was to her.

“We all love and support Jonnie, we all saw him at the TRIC awards where A Place in the Sun won and we dedicated it to him live on stage,” she said.

'I met Jonnie before when I first got the gig in 2021 and he was so welcoming and warm to me and he left the program before I even started but he was just great an
