Amazfit Bip 3 Pro launches in India

Amazfit started expanding the availability of the Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro smartwatches last month, and the vanilla model launched on Amazon India before the end of June. The Pro will take a little longer, but is finally ready to launch in the country.

It will be available from July 7 (Thurs) on the official online store and via Flipkart for a price of 4,000. In comparison, the base BIP 3 model started at 3,000, but now only a ₹3,500 version is available. Note that the official MSRPs of the two watches are 6,000 and ₹5,000 respectively, but there are almost constant discounts as long as there is stock.

What is the difference between the two? Basically, the Pro has a built-in GPS receiver (it actually works with four satellite constellations). Apart from that, both watches have the same case with the same 5ATM water resistance and the same 1.69-inch TFT touchscreen (240 x 280px). Battery life is also the same, 14 days of average use, 7 days of heavy use (this does not include GPS tracking though).
