Apple TV+ launches first trailer for ‘Amber Brown’ family series

The new children’s and family series “Amber Brown” gets its first trailer, which premieres on July 29 Apple TV+

amber brownis a live-action adaptation of the best-selling book series of the same name written by Paula Danziger. Directed by Bonnie Hunt, the series is described as an unfiltered look at a girl who finds her voice through art and music in the wake of the divorce from her parents.

Carsyn Rose stars as the titular Amber Brown alongside Sarah Drew, Darin Brooks, Ashley Williams, Michael Yo and Liliana Inouye. Executive producers include Bonnie Hunt, Bob Higgins and Jon Rutherford.

The trailer shows young Amber Brown struggling with the hurdles of growing up between divorced parents. She learns to cope with the new life by finding meaning in her own life with new friends and challenges she has to overcome at her school.

This new show joins the many other kids shows on Apple TV+, including “Duck & Goose” and “Pine cone & ponyApple says its award-winning programming has brought in 246 wins and 1,062 award nominations to date.
