Bakcell unveils new brand identity and future vision for Azerbaijan


Operator from Azerbaijan Bakcell has announced its new brand identity. During a press conference at the Baku Convention Center, the company recently unveiled its new visual logo in which five dynamic tiles together span and open a star-shaped gateway to the future. During the announcement, the company emphasized that the design represents Bakcell's transition into the digital future. The telco has worked with Spain-based consultancy Saffron to conceptualise the new brand identity.

AI integration for improved customer interaction

Bakcell also presented a humanoid robot supported by artificial intelligence at the conference, confirming that it is using AI as part of its new brand transition, to interact with Bakcell's customers and build the capabilities of their workforce internally.

Revealing the new brand identity, Bakcell said: “The new Bakcell is all about bringing innovative services to the good people of Azerbaijan. Our new brand identity reflects bold changes in appearance, content and positioning. It is about repurposing our work within Bakcell. We will use innovations as our sole focus is to bring innovations that matter and will matter in Azerbaijan, and will guide our journey from now on like a North Star.”

Expansion of network coverage and services

Bakcell said it aims to improve its value proposition by offering a high-speed mobile network across the entire territory of Azerbaijan, especially in Karabakh. Additionally, the telco will be launching an AI-powered conversational assistant that will be available to customers as ChatBot and VoiceBot, powered by deep learning enhancements such as LLM and GPT.

Further, Bakcell said a house is coming internet service that is much faster than anything currently available in Azerbaijan.

Bakcell unveiled its new store

Following the launch of its brand new identity, Bakcell unveiled its newest store in Fountain Square, which opened on May 3. The renovated store is a “high-tech” space that exhibits a modern customer approach while serving as an exceptional customer service center, the company said Monday.

Bakcell is the country's largest private telecommunications company, providing a mobile network to more than 3 million subscribers in the country.
