Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has an eye for bargains as he shops at budget chain B&M.
The former Tory leader was seen wearing shorts and a shirt at the store in Didcot, Oxfordshirefor the driving away in a passenger carrier.
A shopper who saw it said: “I was at B&M in Didcot and my wife said, 'I think so'. Boris Johnson' – It certainly was him.
'It was just very interesting to see the ex-prime minister shopping at one B&M in Didcot.
“He got into a very old car – it was a Toyota Privately.
'You don't expect to see him in an old car, you expect to see people like that in flashy cars. It was a people carrier type car, so he must have been using it to ferry the kids around.”
Earlier this month we revealed that the former Prime Minister had a lucrative deal to star in Paddy Power's advertising campaign for this summer's Euro 2024 football tournament.
The 59 year oldwho resigned as MP last year, has signed up for the gambling giant's commercials, which are known for being edgy.
Recent advertisements featured the former England rush hour Peter Crouch and his model wife Abbey Clancy.
And sources say Boris will make a cameo in an advert for the eurosthat start over Germany next month.
One told The Sun on Sunday: “Landing a character like Boris as part of their Euros campaign is a huge coup and the Paddy Power bosses are thrilled he decided to go for it.”
