New research from traffic accident lawyers Simpson Millar has shown the places where you are most likely to be involved in a traffic accident.

Their research, which analyzes traffic accident data from the past 10 years Ministry of Transporthas concluded that drivers are most likely to be injured in a car crash in Kingston Upon Hull.

The City of London is at the top, with Westminster in second and Kensington and Chelsea in third place.

On the other hand, Wigan is one of the safest areas in Britain, with 84 accidents per 10,000 occupants, with Stockport close behind.

Elsewhere, new data has revealed that thousands of motorists are being charged up to £250 to park outside their own homes under controversial rules.

The measure is dismissed as a 'cash grab' by the municipality aimed at motorists.
