Cara Delevingne has hit back at trolls after she was despite being accused of being 'coked up' during a Met Gala interview being sober for almost two years.

The 31-year-old model has previously shared her struggles with drugs and alcohol, after undergoing rehabilitation after failed interventions by family members.

At the Met Gala she looked happy and healthy after a recent ordeal involving a fire destroyed her house in Los Angeles.

Wearing a glittering VRAI x Stella McCartney headpiece covered in lab-grown diamonds, Cara stopped for an interview that was interrupted by the designer himself.

Stella, 52, and Ed Sheeran, 33, surprised the American Horror Story actress who widened her eyes in shock as they emerged from behind.

When she realized who was behind her, Cara jokingly called them “Mom” and “Dad,” derailing the interview, causing trolls to accuse her of being drunk or on drugs.

Jessica Bosch accused, “She's not sober, as she even caressed the interviewer's wrist… She's not nearly sober.”

“They keep her from ruining the interview because she was so drunk she had to intervene,” Amanda Renee added in the comments.

Many rushed to Cara's defense in the comments, criticizing the trolls for so callously bringing up a sensitive topic.

Even the model herself weighed in, responding with a comment: “Clearly for almost two years!! Thanks for the support.'

Concerns arose in September 2022, after a series of paparazzi photos surfaced of the supermodel looking disheveled and erratic on several occasions after a trip to Burning Man.

She revealed that she initially pushed her friends away, but after the photos everyone, including the Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie, gathered around her.

In July last year, the Paper Towns actress opened up about how difficult it was to recover when she faced several bumps in the road.

She said Elle UK at the time: 'That is not the case [been easy]but there have never been times where I thought, “This isn't worth it.”

'It's been worth every second. I just don't know what it would cost to give it up. I am stable. I'm calmer.'

In her heartbreaking confession, Cara added: “For a long time, I felt like I was hiding a lot from people who looked up to me. I finally feel like I can be free and myself, completely.”

However, this isn't the only time she's addressed her mental health, as she shared in April Fashion she hadn't been “ready” to face her demons until she found herself in a “bad place.”

As their cover star, she explained, “I had some kind of interventions, but I wasn't ready for it. That is the problem.

'I hadn't seen a therapist in three years. I just pushed everyone away, which made me realize how much of a bad place I was in.”

Since the Burning Man incident, Cara has been sober, booked and busy – most recently starring in the West End production of Cabaret.
