Channing Tatum accuses ex-wife Jenna Dewan of seeking 'money' from him

Despite finalizing their divorce over five years ago, Channing Tatum And Jenna Dewan still disagree on financial assets and their daughter.

The world was shocked when one of Hollywood's power couples emerged in 2018 decided to end their marriage after nine years together.

Since then, the Magic Mike star has moved on Zoe Kravitz And the couple is now engaged but keep the details of their relationship fairly tight-lipped.

Meanwhile, Jenna, 43, is engaged to actor and singer Steve Kazee and is expecting their second child next month.

However, Channing, 44, has now accused his ex-wife and Step Up co-star of 'delaying tactics' in their lengthy divorce.

The lost city actor said Jenna tried to “prolong the resolution of our financial arrangement… to seek a windfall from me.”

Court documents, first published in the Daily emailshow Channing dismissed the Supergirl actress' claims that he hid income from the Magic Mike franchise while they were still together.

'I have never denied her any share of the community property or income. Her claims that I “conspired with third parties” are completely false,” he stated.

Channing added that he has always approved of Jenna having a stake in the lucrative male stripper franchise and continues to provide her with the financial updates.

Since then, Jenna has filed a motion to treat Magic Mike's earnings as a separate issue from their divorce in a supplemental lawsuit.

Spousal support also has that become a bottleneck for the two Step Up icons who also have their daughter Everly, 10.

Returning to the request, Channing said, “We had a short-lived marriage of eight years and eight months and broke up over six years ago…. I believe she is now seeking spousal support from me to further delay our financial settlement'

Spousal support or alimony is paid to a former partner if they are unable to support themselves, which Jenna believes they don't need.

He added that she would receive half of the community property, royalties and other financial assets, but that she also works in the sector herself.

The first Magic Mike film in 2012 was co-financed by Channing and the film's director, Steven Soderbergh.

Together they invested $7 million (£5.57 million), but today after that the last dance in 2023 the franchise will be worth $167 million (£133 million).
