It may have been one of the TV moments of the yearand even has been nominated for a Bafta no less, but not everyone was happy about it David Beckham revealing Victoria Beckhamtransportation to school.

With the football player Netflix docuseries, Beckham, the 49-year-old interrupted Posh while he was talking about her childhood to instruct her to “be honest” and admit that her father drove a Rolls-Royce – after she said she were 'very working class.'

Naturally, the clip went viral and so did the couple recreated the scene for an Uber Eats ad that aired during the Super Bowl, in which Victoria wears a T-shirt that reads, “My dad had a Rolls-Royce.”

However, David said the show's director, Succession actor Fisher Stevens, was 'very angry' after the former Manchester United player stormed into the room and corrected Victoria, 50.

Fisher, 60, explained that he was annoyed by Becks' interference in his planned interview with Victoria “because David was supposedly gone and she could be free to say whatever she wants.”

'I thought, 'Get him out of here', but it turned out brilliant.

'It worked. Thank God the cameraman caught David, and then Michael said, “I think we got some gold.”'

It's a good thing Fisher didn't leave the clip on the cutting room floor, as it was nominated for the P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award at this year's Baftas.

They are confronted with scenes such as the reveal of Ncuti Gatwa as the 15th Time Lord in Doctor Who, the shocking death of Logan Roy in Succession and Catherine Cawood and Tommy Lee Royce's confrontation for the prize in Happy Valley.

During the Emmys For Your Consideration event, David also explained the behind-the-scenes details that led to this moment.

He said the crew thought he had left the house, but “I was in the kitchen making coffee before I went to the office.”

'I put on the headphones and suddenly I heard my wife say, “Well, we're sober.” And I was like, “No, no, no.”

“As soon as I heard her say, 'We are the working class,' I stuck my head in and thought, 'Be honest.'”

David's candid insight into the making of Beckham comes after he was spotted feeding Victoria a piggyback ride after her 50th birthday.

It may not have been quite the Rolls Royce Victoria is used to, but her husband's back at least provided some relief after she broke her foot earlier this year.
