Former Downing Street aide Dominic Cummings has accused the Tories of “doing everything” to take advantage Brexit advantages.
Boris Johnson's ex-top advisor also focused on the eurozone's problems, which he said “have worsened.”
Mr Cummings said: “The Government has abused virtually nothing and in fact done nothing differently. There's no point in doing that Brexit and then sit like the Tories I did everything and actually left out a lot of stupid EU stuff.”
The controversial adviser, who led and won the 2016 campaign to leave the EU, wrote last August about the need for a party that focuses on issues such as reducing immigration, closing tax loopholes for 'those one percent', investing in public services and drastically reforming the civil service.
In an interview with the i-newspaper he said: “We were right Brexit. If you look at the big arguments we had in 2016… the dynamics of the EU and the Eurozone, the Euro is bad, it's institutionally broken, they can't fix it, the Eurozone is at an economic standstill.
“The Eurozone is increasingly culturally hostile to science and technology, it's going to massively ramp up everything like biotechnology, it's going to ramp up AI regulations etc., and it has this combination of free movement, can't deal with Islamic crazy jobs and growing politics -extremist parties. I think we were right in principle: all those problems have gotten worse.”
Mr Cummings has reportedly organized a series of focus groups to gauge the public's views on a potential new anti-establishment party.
He has been mulling over the new party since September last year, when he wrote about the need to “build a startup” to “replace the rotten party.” Tories and win in 2028”.
Cummings will have to convince the public to support his new party as anger still runs deep over him Covid rule-breaking trip to Barnard Castle during lockdown.
Mr. Cummings called Mr Keir Starmer a 'duff leader' who would be identical to the prime minister Rishi Sunak.
He said: “In many ways Labor is just a carbon copy of the Tories. They have a stupid leader who is bad at politics, can't communicate, who doesn't really have any idea of how he wants to be different, he just wants to be in charge of the broken old institutions and then do what is necessary. The civil service tells him to do it all day.
“Starmer will be identical to Rishi in that respect. They are counting on the total disintegration of the Tory party. Second, they have the same problem as the Tories that is to say, the ranks of parliamentarians are filled with patently useless people who cannot do anything. And the party itself is dead. It's intellectually dead, organizationally dead, just like the Tories.”
Mr Cummings also revealed that he has not spoken to Mr Johnson since the former Prime Minister ordered him to leave Downing Street with immediate effect in November 2020.
