Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) has been dating Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) for over a year. EastEndersand they've had more than their fair share of ups and downs during that time.

However, they face a new challenge in the coming scenes when Denzel meets influencer Ebony and Amy becomes jealous of their budding friendship.

With Denzel's attention elsewhere, Amy confides in her half-sister Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) that she wants to take her relationship with him to the next level, and admits that she wants to sleep with him.

Penny quickly warns Amy not to take that step until she is truly ready, but Amy has already made up her mind.

Later, at Denzel's party, Amy asks him to go upstairs with her so they can spend some time alone.

But when it's time to take the next step in their relationship, Denzel struggles due to his steroid use.

While Amy tries to make him feel better, he covers up and in turn manages to insult her.

Later, an upset Amy sits alone in McKlunky's, but is soon joined by Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) who does his best to cheer her up.

However, he misinterprets the situation and eventually tries to kiss her, leaving her shocked.

At home, Penny thinks that Amy's calmness simply comes from her reluctance, although it soon becomes clear how upset she is.

After learning what happened, Penny insists that Denzel and Nugget should both be held accountable, but advises Amy that talking is the best way forward.

However, things take a shocking turn when Nugget turns things around and tells Denzel that Amy tried to kiss him, leaving the teen devastated.

When Denzel breaks up with Amyshe heads to the Minute Mart to give Nugget some home truths, leaving him to worry about his friendships.
