Soap stars Rosie Bentham And Daisy Campbell have exchanged the rural pleasures of Emmerdale for the more sun-drenched attractions of the Spanish coastal city of Barcelona as they have been enjoy a nice holiday.
The two best friends have both shared many photos on their Instagram. In a post on her Instagram stories, Daisy – who plays a young mother Amelia Spencer in the show – revealed some of the things they had been up to, including a visit to the stunning architecture of the Sagrada Familia.
Daisy and Rosie, who have played Gabby Thomas since 2016, both shared photos of some other highlights of the trip, including shopping for souvenirs and enjoying local food and cocktails. One photo shows Daisy on a crowded train, but overall the pair seemed to be having a relaxing time.
It's not the first time Daisy and Rosie have been together have been on holiday together. They have previously enjoyed visits to Paris, Ibiza and Croatia and are keen to keep fans updated on their holiday activities.
This proved difficult during their 2022 trip to Ibiza, when the Emmerdale couple revealed they would their belongings had been stolen while they were away.
“It would be our fault if all our bags were stolen on the second night when we had no phones for most of the holiday,” Daisy said at the time.
“But we lived in the moment and ended up getting new phones.” The lack of phones explained why they were “a little MIA” when it came to updating Instagram.
Back in the Dales, things have been fairly quiet for Amelia lately. The character lives in the Woolpack with her daughter Esther, after her father, Dan (Liam Fox), was jailed about hitting and killing Amelia's stalker.
Meanwhile, for Gabby, the evil Tom King (James Chase) has set his sights on her as a possible match for Vinny (Bradley Johnson) as he tries to remove Vinny from Belle's life.
Tom has also used Gabby's wealth and business success as another way to make Belle feel bad about her life, while deliberately comparing the two women and making Belle feel inferior. while flirting with Gabby.
Gabby has also been involved in the Home Farm storylines, where the family is in turmoil after Dawn (Olivia Bromley) and Billy (Jay Kontzle)'s son Evan was murdered. diagnosed with leukemia.
