Aldi has once again been crowned Britain's cheapest supermarket – and what better way to celebrate than the chance to win a share of £1,000 to spend there?

Aldi has been named by consumer champion Which? voted the cheapest supermarket in Britain. following the monthly price comparison survey that looked at the cost of groceries and household essentials.

The latest research shows that Aldi was a whopping £31.23 cheaper than the most expensive supermarket, Waitrose, in April – for an equivalent list of groceries. Which? also revealed that Aldi is £14.08 cheaper than Asda and £18.12 cheaper than Sainsbury's.
