With the Final Eurovision Song Contest 2024 around the corner it's time to get out of the lottery.
The semi-finals – which took place on Tuesday and Thursday – made all our Eurovision dreams come true with the appropriately weird and wonderful we've come to expect from this cultural extravaganza.
Held in Malmö, Sweden after Britain hosted last year's festivities in Liverpool, this year is making some noise, okay.
The British act lost in an exciting semi-final Olly Alexander wowed the crowd with his song Dizzy, Ireland has beaten its historic losing streak in the semi-finals the incredible Bambie ThugAnd Croatia's Baby Lasagna act has established itself as a firm favorite with the bookmakers.
Poland's Luna, Iceland's Hera Björk, Moldovan's Natalia Barbu, Azberbaijani Fahree feat IIkin Dovlatov and Australia's Electric Field did not reach Tuesday's semi-finals.
In the second semi-final to be held on Thursday, Israel controversially reached the final – takes place on Saturday, May 11 – alongside Austria, Armenia, The NetherlandsLatvia, Norway, Greece, Georgia and Estonia.

Thanks to their significant financial support to the competition, the 'big five' countries – France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Great Britain – gain automatic entry into the finals and did not have to qualify like everyone else.
Sweden also receives an automatic place in the final in recognition of last year's victory.
However, a free pass doesn't mean they'll do well – as we well know – and if there's one lesson we've learned about the Eurovision Song Contest over the years, it's that anything can happen.
Your Eurovision 2024 sweepstakes kit – and how it works
It's always fun to spice up your Eurovision party with a lottery bet, and Metro.nl has put together a kit to make this possible.
Download your Eurovision 2024 sweepstakes kit below to get started.
Then it's time to decide what the stakes are. You can all put down €1, €2 or more depending on how much you are willing to part with.
You then have to pick out each finalist country and distribute them evenly across your party by blindly picking them out of a hat.
Whoever has the winning participant wins the cash pot at the end. Good thing, too!
What are the chances of my sweepstakes winning?
This year's British entry – Years & Years singer Olly – won't fare too well this year, with Ladbrokes giving him huge odds of 66/1 to win, and 5/1 odds to win. to finish last.
There are also 12/1 odds that Britain will get the dreaded zero points. Ouch.
However, Britain is not the least likely Ladbrokes winner. It may be a bad idea to place your earnings on Malta (500/1), Lativa (500/1), San Marino (300/1) and Portugal (300/1).
After Baby Lasagna, the second most likely winner – according to the bookmakers – is Switzerland's Nemo and the song The Code (10/3), while Italy will be the third most likely winner, followed by Ukraine, the Netherlands and Ireland.
May the luck of the draw be in your favor…
