The CW will stick to its usual premiere strategy for the start of the 2022-’23 season.
The network has announced fall dates for its primetime series, and as usual, most series will debut in October, a few weeks after the big four broadcasters launched most of their programs. One big exception for The CW is star girlwhose third season will debut on August 31 and bridge the summer and fall.
The rest of the lead – which contains prequels Supernatural (The Winchesters) en Walker (Walker: Independence) and the return of All-Americanplus a handful of lower-cost imports – will begin Canadian dramas starting Oct. 2. Family law and coroner. Kung Fu will with star girl begins on October 5, and Walker – the network’s most-watched program on air in 2021-22 – and its prequel debut the following evening.
All-American and turn off All American: Homecoming arrives on 10 Oct. The Winchesters premieres on October 11 with Tom Welling-led import professionals. Superman & Lois, The Flash, Nancy Drew and the last season of Riverdalmeanwhile is ready for later in the season, just like The CW’s other newcomer series, DC Comics drama Gotham Knights.
