And while everything initially went according to plan, things went downhill when moving the built-in closet for the first time since they moved into the house.

“As you can see, there is a very, very large wardrobe in the corner that actually belonged to the house, and that is going to cause us a lot of problems,” she said in an interview. video on her TikTok page.

“My original plan was to keep the wardrobe and move it to the wall where the bed is, and move the bed to the wall where the wardrobe is.

“Of course, nothing in life is ever that simple.”

She started painting the other parts of the room with natural Hessian paint from Levis.

Then it was time to tackle the wardrobe, and Kerri set about removing the entire contents.

“Me and my partner really tried to move it but it wouldn't budge at all,” she continued.

'I think there was solid wood in the bottom.

“So we did get permission from our landlord that we could actually take it apart. So that's exactly what we did.

“We had to take it down because I think this thing has been on the rise over the years, to be honest.

“To be honest, I felt completely sick because we were sleeping just a few feet away from there.”

Kerri then cleaned and scrubbed “every inch” of the wall and floor.

“This poor little wall has seen something,” she joked.

“So I'm giving it another lick of pain and just trying to erase all the memories of the past.

“Honestly, I don't know what some of the previous tenants are up to, but I don't want to be part of it!”

Once she finished the painting, Kerri let her partner assemble the drawers while she took care of the decorations in the room.

“That would have scarred me enough to move completely,” one person commented on Kerri's video.

“Screaming!!!!!! The finds behind the wardrobe!” another added.

“Never in a million years would I have guessed what was behind that wardrobe!” a third laughed.
