mother of two, Heidi Ondra51, from Devon, UK, revealed the six ways she could lower her energy bill on TikTok.

In April, her electricity bill averaged £123.95 a month, but now Heidi has reduced it to £72.72.

She revealed that one of the first changes she made was changing the devices she used.

The mom revealed she never uses the oven again, and in past videos she said she prefers using her air fryer for cooking because it’s cheaper to use.

She added that she uses her stovetop sparingly and doesn’t prepare meals that take a long time to cook on the stovetop.

“I also stopped using the tumble dryer altogether,” she added.

Heidi has also made some smaller changes that have made a big difference, such as fewer lights in the house and sockets off.

Another switch Heidi has made is to bring solar lamps from her garden into the house in the evenings.

She explained that there is now also a curfew in the house for her children so that no one uses electricity unnecessarily at night.

Heidi has also made an effort to use her washing machine less and uses a spray and wear spray on clothes that are lightly used to skip the washing machine.

Plus, Heidi put bigger loads in the machine and put them on it for shorter, cooler washes.

Viewers were stunned by the savings, and many praised the mother for cutting her bills.

But many were astonished that such a measure had to be taken.
