iQOO is reportedly working on a new variant to add to the popular Z6 range. Rumors are still vague, but they claim that the iQOO Z6 5G will offer 80W fast charging. The iQOO Z6 5G would join a current trio of siblings within the Z6 line. there is the iQOO Z6 Pro with its 66 W charging, the iQOO Z6 – a 4G phone with 44W charging and the iQOO Z6 5Gwhich was unveiled in India in March with 18W charging.
Since the name iQOO Z6 5G is already in use, hopefully this means that the new device will have a different name of its own. A few days ago, an unannounced iQOO Z6x was spotted next to a vivo X80 Lite 5G on the list of supported devices by Google Play. Perhaps there is a connection there.
We still don’t know much about this upcoming iQOO Z6 5G variant beyond the charging speed. We expect the phone to feature a 120Hz LCD display, a 5,000mAh battery and a triple camera setup on the rear with a 64MP main snapper. There are also rumors of a Snapdragon 7 series chipset. Hopefully we’ll get more information as we get closer to a release.
