“Kaduna is the only house I know”

Catholic priest, Rev. Father Vitus Borogo, who was killed by bandits in Kaduna State, once revealed that he was born and raised in Zaria and Kaduna is the only house he knew.

The 50-year-old priest of the state of Benue was killed on Saturday 25 June at the Nigerian prison farm in Kujama in the Chikun Local Government Area of ​​Kaduna.

According to civilian journalist and activist Steven Kefas, the deceased priest told him in 2017 that Kaduna was the only house he knew.

By sharing screenshots of a conversation they had, Cephas wrote;

“Yesterday, Master Rev. Vitus Bogoro, the Chaplain of Kaduna Polytechnic Catholic community, was killed by terrorists at the Prison Farm, Kujama.”

“Why did they not kidnap Father and ask for ransom? Why did they kill him outright? Dad loved Kaduna very much and once told me in 2017 that Kaduna is the only house he knows, but the same Kaduna did not kill him for no just cause.

“I am sad that a gentleman, a man whose humility is second to none, had to die in such a way through the bullets of some stinking terrorists from hell. Rest in Power Father, Nigeria and Kaduna have let you down! Elrufai & Buhari, it will never go well with you and your generations. ”
