Kate Middleton celebrates family birthday with sister Pippa as cousin hits milestone | Royal | News

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is celebrating her nephew’s birthday today. Pippa Middleton and James Matthew’s son Arthur Michael William Matthews was born on October 15, 2018.

Pippa and James had their baby in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London, the same place where Kate welcomed all three of her royal children.

The sisters are incredibly close and it is likely that the princess has come up with a special present for her four-year-old nephew.

Pippa, 39, is private about her family life, but in an interview with sportswear label Hoka One last year, she said: “Being active with my 2.5-year-old son at the park or playground, carrying him on the back of my run having bikes and buggies when he was a baby are ways I can exercise outside while being a hands-on mummy.

“Being such an active family has let my son down, he loves nothing more than to run wild in the woods, parks and fields with our two dogs, even when it’s storming and pouring with rain.”

Earlier in 2022, Pippa and James welcomed their youngest daughter in late June, just weeks after attending Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace.

The reports come from PEOPLE, but it’s not known what the baby’s name is or where he was born.

Pippa and James welcomed their second child, Grace Elizabeth Jane, on March 15, 2021 around 4:22 a.m., weighing 6 pounds 7 oz.

A family source told HELLO! at the time: “Mother and baby are doing well. She is perfect, everyone is overjoyed with such a happy arrival.”

It also comes as Kate gave a touching message to the England women’s rugby team ahead of their second game in the Rugby World Cup.

She said: “I want to wish the English Rugby League teams the best of luck with your respective World Cup tournaments.

“I was so honored to become a patron of the RFL earlier this year, not least because I know what an important moment this is for Rugby League.

“The opportunity to take part in a World Cup tournament is incredible, but to be able to do it on your own turf, host teams from all over the world and showcase everything this fantastic sport has to offer is really special .

“I am also very proud that this will be the most inclusive Rugby League World Cup to date, with the men’s, women’s and wheelchair tournaments running side by side for the first time.

“We’re in for a great couple of weeks of rugby and I’m looking forward to cheering you on all the way!”
