King Charles is likely to arrange a meeting with Prince Harry 'soon' under two conditions | Royal | News

King Charles will probably meet with Prince Harry planned soon in his diary, claims a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex flew to London on Tuesday ahead of his appearance at St Paul's Cathedral the following day.

However, Harry did not stay in Britain for long and is already in Nigeria to promote the Invictus Games Meghan Markle.

Earlier this year, Harry answered questions about whether he would meet his father during the short visit, confirming they would not meet due to the king's “full schedule”.

As Harry's special ceremony to mark the tenth anniversary of the Games drew to a close, the King hosted his first annual Buckingham Palace Garden party on the same day, May 8.

However, the 39-year-old added that he would be willing to arrange a meeting in the future and “hopes to see him soon”.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams spoke about whether Harry will meet his father soon Express.co.uk: “I would have thought one would probably be planned, as King Charles has a serious illness, although he shows amazing energy in his engagements.”

He added that the king would likely base his visit on two conditions: that it be “private” and “planned in advance.”

Despite a possible trip being in the works, Mr Fitzwilliams added: “But after this week, when Harry's spokesman said his commitments prevented a meeting, the King has sent a clear signal that any future visit is likely will only be useful if it is private. and planned in advance without the accompanying media circus we just saw.”

Despite Meghan remaining in the US while Harry was in London, the mother-of-two also flew to Heathrow ahead of their shared flight to Nigeria.

It was originally thought that Meghan would meet Harry in the African country, but instead she flew to London so they could travel there together.

To kick off their visit to Nigeria, Meghan and Harry were photographed on the morning of May 10 at the Lightway Academy with the GEANCO Foundation, which provides vital healthcare and education services across the country.

Attending the first mental health summit, Meghan and Harry urged young people in attendance to stay informed about their mental health.

Besides the fact that her son Archie loves building, Meghan gave a rare update about their daughter Lilibet – who turns three years old at the beginning of June.

Describing a recent emotional interaction with Lilibet, Meghan said, “Our daughter, Lili, she's much, much smaller than you guys. She's about to turn three.”

“And a few weeks ago she looked at me and all she saw was the reflection in my eyes. And they [goes]“Mom, I see myself in you,” Meghan recalled to a classroom full of small children.

'Oh, now she was speaking very literally. But I held on to those words in a very different way,” she continued.
