Leak: This is the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

TL;DR

  • We now have trusted leaked renders for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
  • It doesn’t look like the 2023 model will be much different from the 2022 model.
  • It is likely that Samsung will rely only on internal hardware upgrades.

Reliable leaker Steve ‘OnLeaks’ Hemmerstoffer apparently shared Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus Views yesterday but teased another leak today. Yes, the leaker and SmartPrix have now handed out alleged Galaxy S23 Ultra renders.

These renderings are our first apparent look at Samsung’s upcoming Ultra phone, and it seems very little has changed compared to the S22 Ultra. Check out the image at the top of the page and the images in the gallery below.

The renders show a quad-camera system on the rear, giving us hope that Samsung will keep the same basic configuration as its predecessors (main/ultrawide/3x/10x). Otherwise we still have a center mounted punch cutout on the front.

As for the dimensions, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to measure 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.8mm, complete with a 6.8-inch display. These measurements mean it’s virtually identical to the S22 Ultra’s 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9mm. Anyway, those who thought the Ultra device was a little too big for them might be disappointed here.

This is just the latest in a series of Galaxy S23 Series leaks and rumors. Previous leaks point to a QHD+ display for the S23 Ultra (and FHD+ displays for the S23 and S23 Plus), a 200MP camera for the Ultra variant, and an earlier launch. Samsung and Qualcomm too announced a deal earlier this year, Snapdragon’s Galaxy flagships will be seen “global”, suggesting more regions will get Snapdragon power next year.
