A DOTING granddaughter can still see her late grandfather looking over her — in a Google Street View image of him standing outside his bungalow.
Every year Michala Burrluck is cheered by the photo of Victor Austin as he goes to the google of breaking his street.
Victor is seen in 2009, five years before he died of Alzheimer’s 84 years old.
HR employee Michala, 43, who lives a block away in Eccles, Knows, said: “The first time I saw it after he died, I remember crying and thinking, ‘Ah, he’s still there – arms on hips mad at the van’. It’s reassuring.”
Victor lived in the house for 30 years.
Wife Doris died in 2001 at the age of 70 and moved to a care home in 2012.

Michala watches Street View every July 30, the day she first noticed his photo.
She shared her tradition on Facebook this month and hopes her girls Elsie and Alice, both eight, will see their great-grandfather online for years to come.
