Dimensity 9300+ is the latest flagship chipset from MediaTek and offers higher clock speeds alongside improved APU compared to the Size 9300. The full-size core CPU now features a top-of-the-line Cortex-X4 core with a clock speed of up to 3.4 GHz, up from 3.25 GHz on the Dimensity 9300.
The new chip, like its predecessor, is built on TSMC's third-generation 4nm+ process node and features the same Arm Immortalis-G720 GPU with ray tracing. The updated APU 790 promises a 10% performance boost on AI tasks and features MediaTek's new NeuroPilot Speculative Decode Acceleration technology. Dimensity 9300+ can execute LLMs with 7B parameters at 22 tokens per second.
