Dramatic footage shows a Volkswagen driver assembling a DBS sports car worth around £200,000 outside an Aston Martin dealership.

The humiliating crash took place in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on Tuesday afternoon in front of shocked onlookers.

Images show the rear of the gray Volkswagen Tiguan on top of the expensive sports car parked outside the luxury dealership as police and staff inspect the damage.

The DBS suffered a huge dent in the bonnet during the bizarre collision and saw that one of the headlights was broken.

Cheshire Police said they are investigating how it happened and confirmed no one was injured in the crash. No arrests have been made.

The Aston Martin DBS, made famous by the James Bond films, can reach a top speed of 340 kilometers per hour and has a 360-degree camera, a touchpad and keyless entry.

The Volkswagen Tiguan involved in the crash can be bought for around £33,000, while the Aston Martin supercar fitted to it is worth £200,000.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: 'At 4.37pm on Tuesday, May 7, police on patrol in Wilmslow came across a gray Volkswagen Tiguan fitted with the bonnet of a blue Aston Martin outside a dealership on Water Lane, Wilmslow.

“Both vehicles have been recovered and investigations are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident. No arrests have been made.”

This isn't the first time a careless driver has been mocked for “parking” unconventionally.
