Prince Harry and Meghan LIVE: King's meeting turns 'awkward' | Royal | News

Prince Harry will visit with his father King Charles while in Britain this week only one royal expert has predicted that the chat will be cut short due to a major event.

The Duke of Sussex travels to the UK on May 8 for the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Invictus Games at St Paul's Cathedral – Meghan Markle does not go with him and instead meets her husband in Nigeria.

However, Harry will attend a meeting with King Charles – his first since February Prince Harry rushed back to Britain after his father announced his cancer diagnosis. But a royal expert claimed the prince's meeting this week could be cut short.

Royal expert and Prince Harry biographer Angela Levin said: “The last time he got here very quickly and ran out – he saw his father for some people say twenty minutes, some say half an hour. This time it will be particularly awkward because the service in St. Paul's Cathedral will end at 6:00 PM [PM].”

Speaking to GB News, she said: “The first garden party of the year – which King Charles is attending – also ends at 6pm. That lasts from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the party… I imagine he will be exhausted. Then he will talk to the Prime Minister. I don't see how that can be contained, he won't see anyone very late.'
