Prince Harry's lawsuit led to 'questions about the duke's exaggerations' | Royal | News

Prince Harry's lawsuit over his US visa documents has 'fueled legitimate questions about the Duke's exaggerations', a royal author claims.

The Duke of Sussex's visa details have become the focus of a legal battle, with the Heritage Foundation taking legal action against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to gain access to Harry's documents.

The organization wants to investigate whether Harry has disclosed his previous use of illegal drugs before obtaining a US visa.

In an interview with GB Newsroyal author Gareth Russell said the situation could be embarrassing Prince Harry when questions arise again about the privileges that made his entry into the United States possible.

He said: “It's hard to predict what will happen.

Lawyers representing the Biden administration have said that just because it was mentioned in the memoir does not mean it is true.

Russell continued: “As lawyers advocating for his visa, we rely on the strategy that is Prince Harry if he “exaggerated” his claims about drug use to sell more books, then that raises a legitimate question.

“What else was exaggerated in 'Spare'?

“These are lawyers arguing for his visa, which implies there are parts of the book that may have been sensationalized.”
