While a third said, “Ohhhh guess where I’m going tomorrow.”

We’ve reached out to Home Bargains to find out if the discount applies to all stores and will update this story as soon as we hear back.

The selection box contains a number of classic chocolates, including Yorkie, Kit Kat, Aero and Fruit Pastilles.

One thing to note is that the products contain milk and wheat and may contain nuts, peanuts and gluten.

So if you’re intolerant of any of these, you’ll need to give the box a dodge.

Of course, you should always shop around when buying a product.

On websites such as trolley.co.uk you can compare the price of food in a number of large supermarkets.

We checked online and the Nestle Christmas Selection Box is cheapest at Home Bargains for 99p.

Morrisons has reduced the price from £3 to £2, but that’s still over £1 more expensive.

Iceland sells the sweet treat box for £3 or two for £5.

In other news, Home Bargains customers rushed to the store this month to pick up a “gold dust” gadget.

Plus, last month, customers couldn’t get enough of a large advent calendar with £60 worth of products for £15 in it.
