Tesco has slashed the prices of real Christmas trees from £30 to just £6

TESCO has slashed the price of its real Christmas trees, with some going for just over £6.

But shopping public will have to be quick as some stores already seem to be sold out.

You cannot buy trees through the tesco website, but several social media posts indicate that there are many in his stores.

Post on from Facebook Extreme Couponing and Bargains group wrote one user: “After seeing the post of Tesco Christmas trees cut back my friend went to our local and although they still cost £30 he asked and they actually scanned for £6!

“So go ask, because they’re all discounted.”

One person responded to the post saying, “Five pounds in our Tesco.”

On Twitter, someone said: “Tesco felled trees yesterday [December 13].

“Real trees from £30 to just over £6 – pretty trees, actually!”

Smaller potted trees have been reduced to £5 – it seems they were originally £25 or £30.

While the larger ones have been reduced from around £30 to £6.25.

But you need you Tesco club card to win the deal.

If you go without, or don’t have one, you can’t get the discount.

You can register for a Clubcard through the Tesco Clubcard app or by visiting the Tesco website.

We’ve asked Tesco if this is all Tesco stores, or just the Extra, for example, and we’ll update the piece as soon as we hear back.

We also don’t know if it’s all trees, but have asked Tesco and will update the piece as soon as we know more.

Be sure to hunt for something similar discounts and offers elsewhere to keep your options open.

In comparison, Wilko sells a real six-foot Christmas tree for £65, while B&Q sells three-foot trees for £26.

It seems that Tesco is offering the best deal at the moment.

The Latest Deals app also lets you search for items and compare prices at different supermarkets to see where it’s cheaper.
