Third person charged in deadly stabbing of dog walker in Christchurch

A third person has been arrested after the fatal stabbing of a dog walker in Christchurch.

Nigel Wilson, 62, was found with multiple stab wounds on November 14 at Bexley Reserve on Pages Rd.

He died eight days later in Christchurch Hospital.

Detective Inspector Nicola Reeves said today that a 32-year-old woman had been charged with complicity in murder and is due to appear in Christchurch District Court today.

Bailey Messervy, 18, is charged with Wilson’s murder.

A 23-year-old woman is suspected of complicity in murder.

“We want to thank everyone in our community who has come in contact with information to help us hold these offenders accountable,” Reeves said.
