TikTok sensation Dr. Kimberley Nix has tragically passed away at the age of 31 – after announcing her own death in a video on social media.

In a clip shared on the video sharing platform, Kimberly shared that her “journey here was over,” as she broke the devastating news herself to viewers, reassuring them that she was “at peace” with where she was.

She told her more than 137,000 fans that if they 'watched' the heartbreaking clip, she would have 'passed', before sharing that they had made her 'so happy'.

Kimberley was diagnosed with metastatic sarcoma, known as cell cancer, at age 28 and was completing her final year of her internal medicine core residency when she was diagnosed.

At the beginning of the clip, Kimberley said, as she donned a red shirt, “Hello followers, if you see this clip, I passed away peacefully. '

Holding back tears, the social media icon introduced herself as “Kim” to those who “don't know me.”

She added that she had a “very beautiful life” that she was “so proud” of.

“Those who know me know that I love my pets, my husband and makeup. And while being a doctor is a big part of my identity, those are the things that matter,” she said during the heartbreaking clip.

Kim went on to note that she was given the “opportunity to start making TikTok videos” in 2021, admitting that she “never thought anything would come of it.”

“I had to get engaged, get married, I went to New York City and it was like Gossip Girl. I was dining at Michelin star restaurants, which was so cool. I also went to Broadway, which was a dream of mine,” she said as she wiped makeup on her face.

Kimberley was excited about her visit to the “mountains, San Francisco and a winery.”

Referring to her time before she was diagnosed, Kimberley added: 'In the previous years I had already lived life to the fullest. I had done things that people would never do.'

She then thanked everyone who had been “so supportive,” including her husband, her family and her friends.

After being diagnosed, the TikTok star decided to share her journey online to help inspire others in similar situations.

“Seeing the beautiful parts of life every day keeps me grounded and focused on what matters most to me, and keeps me moving forward with more treatments.”
