A TOURIST died after falling from a 40ft balcony in a British holiday destination.
The German man, 24, was killed in the early hours of Mallorca on Tuesday in the first fatal accident of the summer season.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at the Timor hotel in Playa de Palma, but he was found motionless, local media reported.
He could not be resuscitated and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim had reportedly only just arrived on the island to spend a few days at the resort near Magaluf.
A full investigation is now underway.
