CRISTIANO RONALDO let go of David de Gea after his second horror blunder in Brentford.
The wanton Manchester United striker, 37, returned to base for the Red Devils.
He was easily dispossessed before De Gea inexplicably let in the first goal – then moaned at being pressured by Brentford’s midfield.
And then after the second goal he angrily shot at his keeper.
De Gea tried to play from behind from the goal kick, but Christian Eriksen was ambushed.
The Dane – booed by his former Bees fans – lost the ball when Mathias Jensen shot in.
Ronaldo was then filmed waving his arms and pointing his frustration at the Spanish goalkeeper.
And then he tried to cheer on his flop teammates, raising a finger as if to say the team only needed one goal to get back into the game.
Instead, Ben Mee bundled for third place and then Bryan Mbeumo blasted in the score to make it 4-0 with 35 minutes on the clock.
Piers Morgan tweeted: “Imagine being the greatest footballer of all time playing with this cowardly bunch of weak sad thugs? Must be torture for @Cristiano – hope he escapes soon.”
