Wimbledon 2022: Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall lead royal arrivals

Zara and Mike Tindall packed the PDA when they went into action at Wimbledon on Tuesday.

The Queen’s granddaughter, 41, shared a public kiss and she placed her hand on her husband’s cheek and leaned her head on his shoulder as they hugged in the All England Club stands.

The pair appeared in typically good humor, smiling and laughing as they joined the spectators for day two of the tennis tournament.

The couple are the first senior royals to attend Wimbledon this year. The two-week tournament is popular with the Royal Family and the Duchess of Cambridge is expected to attend in the coming days.

The action at SW19 continues on Tuesday as Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal and Iga Swiatek take center stage on Wimbledon Day Two.

On the opening day, defending champion Novak Djokovic started his tournament, but he didn’t put on a convincing display as he needed four sets to beat the unseeded Kwon Soon-woo.

Emma Raducanu overcame a race to be fit for the tournament, and the 19-year-old showed no sign of trouble as she put in a brilliant performance beating an in-form Alison Van Uytvanck in straight sets.

Andy Murray was last on Center Court and the two-time Wimbledon champion gave the crowds bang for the buck when he beat a stubborn James Duckworth after dropping the opening set.

Today, #1 seeded Swiatek kicks off the action on Center Court as she takes on Jana Fett. Next up is Rafael Nadal against Francisco Cerundolo, before Williams returns – after a year out – against Harmony Tan.

Matteo Berrettini and Stefanos Tsitsipas on Court 1 and Coco Gauff and Dan Evans on Court 2 will also take to the grass today.
