ZTE Axon 60 and 60 Lite announced

Last month, ZTE unveiled its latest flagship smartphone with the Axon60Ultra, and now the brand has announced two more members in the series with the Axon 60 and Axon 60 Lite. These are affordable 4G devices with Unisoc chipsets, 50 MP main cameras and 5,000 mAh batteries.

Axon 60 has a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9, while Axon 60 Lite gets a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Both Axon 60 and 60 Lite feature ZTE Live Island, which displays notifications, reminders and activities around the front camera, à la Apple's Dynamic Island.

Axon 60 comes standard with a Unisoc T616 chipset, 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Axon 60 Lite gets a Unisoc T606 SoC with 4GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Both phones feature 50MP main cameras, with the Axon 60 also getting a 2MP macro camera and an unspecified depth assist, while Axon 60 Lite offers a 2MP depth assist and an AI camera. Axon 60 also gets a 32MP front camera, while the Lite model makes do with an 8MP shooter.

Both phones boot Android 13 out of the box and bring 5,000mAh batteries with 22.5W charging. They also come with headphone jacks, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual-band WiFi support.

ZTE Axon 60 comes in gold, purple and black and starts at MXN3,699 ($219).

Axon 60Lite is available in the colors Purple, Gold and Blue and can be purchased for MXN2,999 ($177).
