Amy is disgusted when an EastEnders resident suddenly attacks her | Soaps

EastEnders' Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) will be left shocked when her pal Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) tries to kiss her.

Viewers of the BBC One soap has seen Nugget become concerned about the way Amy's boyfriend Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) has been treating her.

Deep in his addiction to steroids steroidsmore than once he preferred the gym to date night.

The schoolboy became addicted to drugs after feeling ashamed when he was attacked by a group of bullies on Edward Road as his friend Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) looked on.

Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) ran towards her, but tripped over her shop bag and injured himself.

The next day, Avani and Nugget mocked him for the incident, which was filmed and posted social media.

When Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) noticed the altercation, so did the boys invited to the Boxing Den to better channel their emotions – but Denzel later became fixated on improving his physique to combat further attacks.

Denzel was thrilled when a well-known fitness influencer reached out to him to create a collaborative workout video, and enlisted Nugget to help him do it.

However, when he prematurely uploaded the video online and it sparked a wave of negative reactions, it turned out to be a catalyst for his disturbing decision to order the pills online.

In the coming scenes, Amy confides in Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) that she wants to sleep with Denzel.

At issue 20, she asks him for some alone time at his party, but as the two go upstairs it becomes clear that he is having trouble having sex due to the effects of the steroids.

Amy tries to make him feel better, but ends up feeling insulted because they couldn't sleep together.

Later that night, she goes to McKlunky's when Nugget stumbles in and tries to cheer her up, but then she misinterprets the situation and tries to kiss her.

At home, Penny notices her discomfort and delves deeper into her emotions, insisting that she must hold both Denzel and Nugget accountable for their actions.

Meanwhile, Nugget tries to cover up his earlier mistake and lies to his best friend and says that Amy tried to kiss him. Furious, he storms to her house and breaks up with her.

But things threaten to go from bad to worse…

Nugget continues to question his friendships and later begs Denzel to give him some steroids in the hopes that they are the answer to his misery.
