Apple may be ahead of schedule with its 20.3-inch foldable device, set to launch in 2025

A new report, based on an investor note, claims that Apple is likely ahead of schedule with its devices. The new leak confirms this previous findings by multiple sources, claiming that Apple is working on a 20.3-inch foldable hybrid device, followed by a foldable iPhone.

However, these reports imply that Apple won't be ready with its first foldable device until 2026-2027 at the earliest, while the latest suggests the device will hit the market as early as 2025. After the supply chain tracks, the tech company will be ready for mass production by the end of 2025, which means the device will hit the market in late 2025 or early 2026.

The hybrid device will be the first in Apple's new lineup and won't be branded as an iPad or MacBook. It will also target the ultra-premium market segment.

Of course, a foldable iPhone is also in the works and Apple is developing two sizes: 7.9″ and 8.3″. These will probably go into mass production a year later, at the end of 2026.

We all know that the Cupertino-based company is trying to enter the foldable market, but this is the most optimistic forecast we've seen yet. Only time will tell if Apple can pull this off.
