BETHANY Platt's abuser Nathan Curtis is brutally attacked in Coronation Street – as a surprise suspect is named.
Previous spoilers for the ITV soap revealed that Bethany would be left in horror after seeing her abuser in a crowd while watching a Police reenactment of the last known movements of missing teenager Lauren Bolton.

Nathan groomed Bethany for sexual exploitation when she was a teenager, and when she comes face to face with him again, she is convinced he had something to do with Lauren's disappearance.
Upcoming Kroningsstraat scenes, Roy Cropper's lawyer Dee-Dee Bailey receives a call from the CPS informing her that she has a number of news about Lauren's phone messages.
Dee-Dee tells Carla and Nina about the messages that have come to light, and Bethany listens in, her mind in disarray.
She then manages to force her way into the lawyers and finds Lauren's file on Dee-Dee's desk.

Later, Bethany questions Craig about Nathan's alibi.
When Craig lets slip that Nathan was with his girlfriend and she works at a nail salon in town, Bethany points out that he was running a business. tan salon when he nursed her.
As Daniel and Bethany head out, they are shocked to be confronted by Nathan, who rails at Bethany for harassing his girlfriend.
At the Rovers, David, Sarah and Gary discuss Nathan and agree that something needs to be done before he ruins Bethany's life again.
At the construction site, Nathan is packing as a hooded figure approaches strikes him over his head and knocked him unconscious to the ground.
Once Bethany finds out, she thinks about who Nathan's attacker could be.
Meanwhile, Shona questions David about the stain on his jeans, unconvinced by his story.
David assures Bethany and Sarah that he is innocent, but they are interrupted by Shona waving the tracking app on David's phone, proving he was at the construction site when Nathan was attacked.
David admits that he witnessed the attack but was not responsible, leaving Bethany convinced that Daniel is to blame.
