Celebrity Master Chef returned to screens to show the best British stars showing off their cooking and Chris Eubank’s looks was something again.
The former boxer, who was joined by Gareth Malone, Cliff Parisicand Mel Blatt, prepared several dishes, including fish and chips and basil pesto and pasta (albeit with a lot of help).
However, the focus was less on his food and more on the intriguing comments that came with it.
Prior to the first challenge, Chris predicted that he would outperform all the other contestants, stating that they “complained” too much.
“You’re here, so let people see your light,” he insisted.
Chris soon ran into challenges, but he was unimpressed. When asked if he was afraid to use a pasta maker, he replied, “Once you’ve been slapped on the teeth by Nigel Benn, you’re quite used to fear.”
Perhaps his most questionable joke came when judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace asked him if he’d tasted his pesto before serving it.
Chris replied confidently, “I see the taste with my eyes.”
Despite the star often saying he was “baffling” about his dishes, he was sadly eliminated after getting a lot of help with cooking.
It’s safe to say fans were blown away after seeing him, with one saying: ‘Chris Eubank said, ‘I can see the taste with my eyes.’ I’M DEAD.’
“Chris Eubank is killing me,” said another, while another added, “Chris Eubank on #masterchef is the gift that keeps on giving.”
it’s not the first time Chris has landed some TV gold on MasterChef, where he previously wowed judges and viewers with a canned corned beef dish.
Celebrity MasterChef returns on BBC One on Thursday at 9pm.
