EastEnders has already released an emotional trailer The dramatic departure of Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty). of the BBC soap opera, leaving fans asking a big question: Will she finally get her happy ending?
Whitney has had a tough time during her time on Albert Square, and after numerous failed relationships, she believes she has finally found the one in fiancé Zack Hudson (James Farar).
But little does she know, Zack recently cheated on her with best friend Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).
In the new trailer, key moments from Whitney's previous storylines play out on screen, including her first arrival in Walford, the abuse she suffered at the hands of pedophile Tony King, her ill-fated marriage to Callum Highway (Tony Clay), and her ordeal with serial killer Gray Atkins.
As her past is revisited, Whitney reflects on everything she has experienced.
Finally, viewers are reminded of Whitney and Zack's relationship, as past Whitney points out that a family is all she's ever wanted – which only makes Zack's betrayal even more painful.
At the moment, Zack and Lauren's one night stand is being kept top secret only Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) has discovered the truth.
Despite promising Zack that she would keep the knowledge under her hat in the coming scenes Bianca gives Lauren an ultimatumin which she promises that if Lauren doesn't tell Whitney the truth, she will.
Will Whitney get her heart broken, or will she finally get her happy ending?
If anyone deserves a happy ending, it's Whitney.
