Chief Inspector Tony Bellis of the North West Command Unit, responsible for policing in Edgware, said: “This (arrest) is a significant development in this investigation and is the result of the quick work of specialist detectives working in partnership with local officers. “The investigation is still in its early stages and we continue to work to determine why this incident occurred, including whether the person responsible was known to the woman who died.
