Freddie, 31, from Sutton, South London, who took sister Polly, 21, with her, said: “I’m not religious or spiritual, but I could feel his presence at Graceland.”

The superfan, who also got to touch one of Elvis’ belts and visit his hero’s childhood home in Tupelo, Mississippi said: “At Sun Studios, the tour guide said, ‘In 1956 Elvis came in and sang That’s Alright Mama from that spot’.

“He then pointed at me – I was standing where Elvis recorded his first song. I could not believe it.

“The trip was amazing, I will never, ever forget it.”
