Tecno is apparently preparing for another release within its camera-focused Camon series. The Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G recently appeared online in a few images and with some leaked specs to boot. We’ve only seen the phone’s camera island so far, and that’s certainly distinctive. According to the source, the Camon 20 Premier 5G will have a leather back to give it an extra premium look and feel.
In terms of specs, the phone is expected to feature an FHD+, 120Hz flat AMOLED display with a diagonal in the 6.X-inch range. To power the phone, we are said to have a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset along with 8GB of RAM (plus another 8GB of virtual RAM) and up to 512GB of storage. The latter is not expandable, but the Camon 20 Premier 5G is expected to offer two SIM slots.
Also on the specs list is a built-in fingerprint reader and dual stereo speakers, though apparently no 3.5mm audio jack. The camera setup would be based around a 108MP main snapper with sensor-shift OIS and laser autofocus, a 13MP ultrawide and some kind of macro camera. The Camon 20 Premier 5G is expected to ship with HiOS 13 on top of Android 13.
The source claims that the device will be available in two colours: pink/burgundy and black with an expected price somewhere in the INR 25,000 ($304) baseball field. That sounds like a pretty great value, given the specs. No word yet on availability.
