Screenwriter, journalist and author Alanna Bennett has signed with CAA for representation.
Bennett most recently served as producer and writer on season two of Netflix's YA drama XO, Kittywhich debuted in May 2023. She also served as executive story editor on the series, created by Jenny Han as a spinoff of the streamer's To all the boys film trilogy. She is also co-producer of the second season of Prime Video's animated series The second best hospital in the galaxy.
For XO, Kittyshe worked as a story editor on Roswell, New Mexico at The CW and also wrote several episodes. As a reporter and cultural critic, Bennett contributed to this The New York Times, New York Magazine, BuzzFeed News, Teen fashion And The bellas well as a number of podcasts.
Bennett's first novel, Kia Greer's training – focused on the teenage daughter of a family famous for its presence on reality TV – will be published by Knopf in 2025.
