Crypto.com Receives Compliance License in France

The turbulence caused by the bears did not stop the expansion plans of several prominent crypto networks. Having focused on Asia for some time, platforms across the industry see potential in the European region. Crypto.com has been on a European expedition to gain approval from regulators across the region. More recently, the company managed to get a green signal from regulators in France.

After a “rigorous review process”, the exchange has reportedly emerged as a registered Digital Asset Service Provider [DASP] in the region. Immediately after the approval of the prudential supervisory and resolution authority [ACPR]Crypto.com further got a thumbs up from the Autorité des marchés financiers [AMF] to work as a DASP.

With this registration, the company will be able to offer a wide range of its services to French citizens.

Crypto.com went into great detail about the process behind getting the aforementioned registration in a recent blog post. The Platform further notes that an extensive review has been carried out, in particular in the field of anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing.

Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, focuses on his latest move said,

“We look forward to partnering with the AMF and the ACPR in introducing our products and services in France, providing users with a comprehensive, safe and secure crypto platform.”

Will Crypto.com Remove More European Countries From Its List?

As mentioned before, Crypto.com has tirelessly expanded its services across the globe. This year alone, the company legally went to South Korea, Dubai, Singapore, CyprusGreece, Italy just like the UK. Now, the inclusion of France hinted at how the company is likely to explore more countries in the region.

Marszalek further added,

“The European market is central to the long-term growth and success of Crypto.com and we are extremely proud to have now received registration in France from the AMF.”
