Jesus scored twice and also claimed two assists, with Granit Xhaka and Martinelli is also on the scoresheet at the Emirates Stadium.
This was a dominant performance from Arsenal, but Leicester managed to pin them back twice via an own goal from William Saliba and James Maddison.
Mikel Arteta’s side, however, were a worthy winner and have now won both of their first Premier League games of the season.
Simon Collings was at the Emirates Stadium to watch Arsenal in action…
Aaron Ramsdale 5
Made a big save early on to turn down Wesley Fofana but will be disappointed with the own-goal swap. Was also beaten too easily by Maddison from a tight corner.
Ben White 7
Will be a little disappointed with Leicester’s first goal as James Justin beat him in the air for the flick on. Other than that, he did well and made a huge tackle to prevent Patson Daka from scoring.
William Saliba 6
The own goal was the only bad note for the Frenchman on an otherwise good afternoon. Since he is only 21, mistakes will happen along the way.
Gabriel 7
Had a better game than last week at Crystal Palace where he was a bit shaky at times. Well handled the threat from Jamie Vardy.
Oleksandr Zinchenko 8
Looked excellent on his home debut and exactly what you would expect from a player signed to Manchester City. So good in possession, especially when he slides in to join the midfield.
Martin Odegaard 7
There were some nice touches from the Arsenal captain, especially around the Leicester box when he tried to open them.
Thomas Partey 7
Looked confident and solid at the base of the Gunners midfield. Broke the game out well and grew in the game with a decent passing.
Granit Xhaka 9
Had an excellent game in midfield and was a contender for man of the match. Scored and could have had another, but he hit the post. He is currently playing his best football for Arsenal.
Bukayo Saka 7
The quietest striker in Arsenal, but he still played a good game. Created some nice chances with his cross, of which Xhaka hit the post.
gabriel jesus 9 | star player
What a home debut from the Brazilian. He scored twice, took his first brilliant and should have had a hat-trick. I also got two assists.
Gabriel Martinellic 9
Looked super bright and vibrant everywhere, and hooked up with Jesus on numerous occasions. Delivered a tough afternoon for Fofana and got the goal his performance deserved.
