Police on the scene after a reported fight between people armed with baseball bats in Caversham, Dunedin.
People fighting with baseball bats in a Dunedin suburb led to multiple calls to police.
The incident took place on South Rd, Caversham on Monday at 10:45 am, senior sergeant Anthony Bond said.
Two men – 21 and 35 – arrived at the address to ”confront the residents”, after which a 41-year-old resident came out armed with a baseball bat.

The older man dropped the bat but continued to fight the men, Bond said.
A 32-year-old woman – the homeowner’s partner – then came out armed with another baseball bat and “started whacking the two visitors.”
“Obviously it’s been a bit of a brawl.”
Police arrived and identified all parties involved and seized a baseball bat.
Investigations are underway to determine which charges should be filed, he said.
