Gardeners planted trees in front of the house and got to grips with the 100 ft yard in the back – while inside, Carrie’s influence seems to have been limited to the kitchen, whose storage cabinets – formerly rustic brown – now have white veneer, with simple brushed steel handles.
The property in Camberwell has been undergoing refurbishment since the beginning of the year.
Estate agents described it as ‘beautiful’ and ‘with a lot of character’ in a ‘sought after’ area. They said it occupies 2100 square feet.
‘The property has been superbly finished throughout, tastefully decorated and retains many features including shutters, wooden floors and low cast iron radiators,’ she added.

Ms Johnson is believed to have moved out of her previous residence after an overnight argument with Mr Johnson – then her boyfriend – who led neighbors to call the police after hearing screams.
The incident is believed to have started after red wine was spilled on a sofa. Ms Johnson was reported to have been heard yelling ‘get off me’ while Mr Johnson told her to get off his laptop.
Neighbors said it had been vacant for nearly a year and on the market for sale for several months. Hostile posters soon appeared in the neighborhood as neighbors complained about the prospect of Mr Johnson moving in.
One day in May this year, a car crashed into the house in the early morning hours.
