Coco Austin caused a lot of controversy with her latest Instagram post, when her daughter Chanel was seen in the sink.
The actress shares the six-year-old with rapper Ice-T, and regularly shares glimpses of their band on social media.
However, her latest video of the pair getting ready to go to a fashion show has raised eyebrows with her followers after she panned the camera over Chanel bathing in the sink.
“Preparing for Patricia Field Fashion Show – First Bath Time,” she captioned the upload.
“The sink is easiest when you have to be quick.”
“We only had an hour to get ready and figure out what to wear,” she said, explaining that she usually does her own hair and makeup, and that the youngster chose her own outfit for her very first. fashion show.
“Chanel’s first fashion show as a prospector…lol,” the mother-of-one wrote on the upload. “This was from an hour before I got ready…”
Coco’s fans were divided over the post, as some followers questioned whether Chanel was “too big” to bathe in the sink.
“You go to the bathroom to do your hair, but you can’t bathe your baby in there?! You’ve lost me, honey,” one wrote.
‘Are you joking?! In the sink!! SHE’S NO MORE BABY,’ agreed another.
“The kitchen is where you prepare your food. I do not understand [sic],’ wrote one stunned follower.
One Instagram user said: ‘She’s too old to be in the sink… that was really awkward to watch. But other than that I hope she had a good time at the fashion show.’
Others rushed to defend the reality star against the criticism, while one fan was furious: “Who the f$ck cares how she bathes her daughter. You have too much time on your hands [sic].’
“What’s the difference between filling the bathtub and filling the sink is the same except for a smaller area…” a social media follower wondered.
As someone added, “Yeah, the sink also saves you back pain.”
Many, many more were simply impressed with the size of her sink and joked that they needed an upgrade to their own home.
Coco famously married Ice-T in 2002 after several years of dating — and the couple landed their own TV series, Ice Loves Coco, shortly after.
They welcomed Chanel together in 2015, while the musician is also a father of two children from previous relationships.
