Colin Farrell ‘divorces from girlfriend Kelly MacNamara after five years’

Colin Farrell and his girlfriend Kelly MacNamara have split after five years together, according to reports.

The Irish actor, 46, and personal assistant are said to have drifted apart due to hectic work schedules.

The news of their separation comes after Kelly, who works for U2 guitarist The Edge, has not been seen with Colin for some time.

A source said: ‘Colin is the man of the moment in the movie thanks to his role in The Banshees Of Inisherin. He worked on that for months, along with the latest Batman blockbuster, where he played Penguin.”

They added The sun: “Colin’s schedule took a toll on his relationship with Kelly and they quietly called it quits.”

The insider assured that there is “no bad feeling” between the pair, but “maintaining a romantic relationship while your work schedule is so demanding became hard to juggle.”

While his love life remains mostly private, Colin has previously spoken about his relationship with Kelly, who he started dating in 2017.

“My friend, she also travels a lot for work, so much so that we are two ships in the night,” said the Oscar-nominated star.

“But we’ll make sure we find a haven where, you know, we can meet.”

Colin’s previous romances were actresses Lindsay Lohan and Carmen Electra.

It is also reported that he had an affair with Britney Spears in 2003, after the singer admitted that they shared a kiss.

“Yes, I kissed him,” the Toxic singer once confessed.

Meanwhile, Colin is the father of two children.

He shares eldest James Padraig Farrell, 19, with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave and his youngest son, Henry Tadeusz Farrell, 13, with Ondine co-star Alicja Bachleda-Curús.
